Intent-Driven Personalization of the Homepage

Helping users see what matters to them - from the very first screen
The Problem
Our homepage was trying to serve everyone — and in the process, wasn’t resonating with anyone.
Regardless of condition, stage, or goal, every user saw the same default layout.
For a platform dealing with chronic conditions, relevance isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s survival.
Users needed clarity, not clutter. Guidance, not guessing.

The Idea
We reimagined the homepage as a personalized experience engine, tuned in real-time to each user’s attributes and intent signals.

If someone is here to manage PCOS, show them hormone-balancing support — not diabetes tips.
If they’ve already booked a consult, show them what happens next — not “Book Now” buttons.
If it’s night, serve content around sleep, not morning yoga.
Every module became dynamic — context-aware, not generic.
What I Led
Defined key personalization parameters: condition, stage, time of day, location, dietary preferences, etc.
Designed modular homepage blocks that adapt in real-time
Worked with data + infra teams to stitch behavior, profile, and history
A/B tested layout strategies to balance personalization with stability
Set up logging to measure lift in engagement, session depth, and CTRs
Outcomes
Increase in homepage-to-action conversion
Drop in bounce rate from homepage by 18%
2.4x higher engagement with “next best action” cards
Personalization drove 3X better conversion for follow-up consults
This wasn’t just cosmetic personalization.
It was about showing empathy through relevance — surfacing the right action at the right moment, for the right person.
We didn’t just redesign the homepage. We rewired how it thinks.
